Contractual terms and conditions

Dear Passenger
You have asked about a coach offer or booked one. Please take your time briefly. We would like to sum up the most important points we offer to you. As a company with many years of experience, we endeavour to make your trip an adventure with competent advice and perfect service.

Our Quality

Fair Prices
All our rates are calculated on the basis of:

Driver's expenses
The costs of the driver’s food and board (single room with shower/WC) will be debited to the customer. These will generally be met by the hotel/restaurant for groups of 20 or more. In all other cases, they will be debited at a flat rate of CHF 25 per meal and CHF 150 per night.

Night surcharge
Nighttime service (i.e. after 21:00) will be subject to a surcharge of CHF 50 per hour from 21:00 until the end of the driver’s duty, provided such hours are noted on the offer and the confirmation.

Overtime
Any driver's duties extending beyond the hours specified in the confirmation will be subject to a surcharge of CHF 80 per additional hour.

Gratuities
Tips are included in the driver's salary. But if you feel that your driver (or your escort) has given you particularly good and attentive service, please feel free to offer them a token of your appreciation.

Organisational surcharges
We will be happy to make reservations for you with other service providers for a modest administrative fee of CHF 20 per reservation.

LSVA
Switzerland's "LSVA" tax on heavy vehicles is included in all our prices.

On-board foodservice
A selection of hot and cold drinks is available on all our coaches. In addition to this, we offer various further catering options. Please see our separate catering offer.

Corkage
You are also free to bring your own food and drink onto our coaches and make full use of our on-board facilities. If you do so, a corkage fee of CHF 50 per coach per reservation will be added to your bill.

Damage and cleaning
Anyone causing wilful damage to our coaches will be charged the full cost of repairs plus a CHF 100 administrative fee. Customers leaving the interior of our coaches in particularly dirty condition may be charged a cleaning fee of CHF 50.  

Cancellation fees
Should you have to cancel your trip after it has been confirmed, the following cancellation fees will be incurred (the percentages shown are of the minimum revenue expected from the trip, plus any organisational surcharges and amounts payable to third parties):

up to 20 days before the trip    CHF 80.-
up to 10 days before the trip 10%
up to four days before the trip 20%
three days or less before the trip 75%

Working and rest time regulations
For your safety, all our drivers strictly observe the Swiss Federal Ordinance on Working and Rest Hours for Commercial Vehicle Drivers:

Maximum driving time per day
Nine hours.

Breaks between driving
A maximum of 4.5 hours driving followed by at least 45 minutes rest
or breaks in between of at least 15 minutes.

Minimum rest hours per day
Continuous rest time:
11 hours every 24 hours.
May be shortened to nine hours up to three days a week.

Aggregate rest time:
12 hours if divided into two or three portions (of which at least one must be uninterrupted for at least eight hours) every 24 hours.  

Duty time
Maximum of 15 hours a day.
