Holiday trips by coach

Holiday trips are travel offers bundled into complete packages, consisting of transport, hotel and additional services. Our tour operating is in contact with partners throughout Europe to offer you your perfect holiday. Public transport

As a transport contractor and licence holder in public transport, we operate 69 bus routes in German-speaking Switzerland with more than 170 scheduled-service buses, of which more than 15 are hybrid buses. In the Sursee, Zurich and Biel regions we also work for various clients in school transport.

In addition to providing public transport services, EUROBUS is a competent, high-performing partner of SBB and other Swiss railway companies. Because of maintenance work and railway line upgrades, trains are replaced by buses in the short and medium term. As general contractor, we take over the planning and execution of rail replacement services and support the clients.

EUROBUS also provides shuttle services at trade fairs, open-air festivals, sports events and other events with high visitor numbers.

A particular focus is on the use of sustainable drive systems in EUROBUS public transport. For the ETH Shuttle in Zurich, for example, EUROBUS is planning a first for Switzerland: operation with three new, fully electric articulated buses from summer 2020. Further projects are in the pipeline.

The knecht Group first put an ambulance into service as early as 1956. Today, with around 40 minibuses and 6 ambulances, we transport patients in Switzerland and abroad.

EUROBUS offers comprehensive CZV (professional driver qualification) courses and training courses for drivers of categories C, D and E as well as subcategories C1 and D1. These courses are designed not only for internal employees but are also open to external companies and private individuals.

The further training takes place in a practical environment supervised by experienced course instructors. The aim is to prepare participants as well as possible for their future tasks.

In addition, it is possible to take part in a 4-week intensive training course to become a coach driver or scheduled-service bus driver in category D. This enables a quick and thorough qualification for the profession.
