Swiss Travel Industry Guarantee Fund
EUROBUS is one of the few coach companies that is a member of the statutory Swiss Travel Industry Guarantee Fund. The money you pay for your trip is 100% secured there. EUROBUS thereby meets all the provisions of the Swiss Package Travel Act. Travel companies bearing the travel guarantee logo guarantee you, the customer:
- Professional working methods
- A sound financial basis and valid liability insurance
- Security for the travel money you have paid
- Return travel in the event of a travel company's insolvency
You can therefore pay the invoice amount for your trip with peace of mind. The money paid is 100% secured. Should an organiser become insolvent during your holiday, the Guarantee Fund will arrange your journey home. EUROBUS has been a member of the Swiss Travel Industry Guarantee Fund since it was founded.
The Guarantee Fund was established by the Swiss Travel Agents' Association SRV as an independent foundation. All the major tour operators in Switzerland, such as Kuoni, Hotelplan and Imholz, are also part of it. The foundation board consists of seven representatives of travel companies of widely differing sizes, sectors and regions, as well as further advisers. In total, around 1‘400 Swiss and Liechtenstein organisers or intermediaries of package tours participate in the Guarantee Fund. They meet the requirements set by the foundation with regard to expertise and solvency.
