The new Car Rouge coaches have arrived!
After a long wait, the moment has finally come! On Friday, 14 June 2019, in glorious weather, we were able to take delivery of our four new Car Rouge Premium coaches in Windisch. The anticipation was huge and the enthusiasm for the end result even greater. After all, what could be nicer than sinking into a brand-new seat and breathing in the fresh scent of new upholstery?
\Our new Premium fleet sets entirely new standards in terms of comfort and design. The passion for design detail is noticeable everywhere, from the forward-looking exterior design to the passenger area and the driver's cockpit. The interior standing height of 2.10 metres creates a unique feeling of space, and the large panoramic windows offer an impressive view.
\30 comfortable luxury fabric armchairs with a generous seat pitch of 91 cm in a 2+1 layout guarantee the best seating comfort and are perfectly tailored to the growing expectations of passengers. The individually adjustable headrests are an absolute first and increase comfort during the journey. Passengers of every height thus find their ideal seating position. Every seat is also equipped with movable footrests, adjustable backrests and armrests, and a power socket. Modern 8-channel multichannel sound systems ensure optimal listening pleasure on the road. During the journey, freshly ground coffee from Jura coffee machines and WLAN/internet are available free of charge.
\The vehicles are equipped with the latest available safety applications, and many of the safety features that legislators will require in future are already standard on our new vehicles. The new Car Rouge Premium coaches all have, for example, adaptive cruise control with Active Brake Assist. If the set distance to a vehicle ahead is undershot, the driver is alerted immediately. In addition, Active Brake Assist also detects road users at the side of the vehicle or in a blind spot. Driver and passengers are thus protected as well as possible.
\But the new coaches impress not only with exemplary safety standards but also with outstanding economy. The most modern diesel engines combine low fuel consumption with low emissions, and the best possible technical refinements allow our vehicles to detect gradients and descents and, for example, automatically reduce engine output, and with it diesel consumption, before a crest.
