Alsace Vineyards & half-timbered houses
The "heart of Alsace" enjoys a magnificent setting and offers a varied landscape of vineyards, forests, and typical villages and towns. Stroll through villages of incomparable charm, such as Kaysersberg or Eguisheim, which, with its Renaissance half-timbered houses, counts among the "most beautiful wine villages in Alsace".
Dates and prices
You begin your Alsace trip in Colmar with a 35-minute tour on the mini train. You will get to know the centre and the famous "Petit Venice" quarter. Afterwards, free time at leisure.
For lunch in Kaysersberg, a typical Alsatian menu is served, and we recommend an Alsatian Pinot Noir or a Riesling to go with it.
In the afternoon you will have time to visit the birthplace of Dr Albert Schweitzer or to stroll through the romantic little town.
The journey continues along the Alsace Wine Route, passing places such as Niedermorschwihr and Turckheim on the way to Eguisheim. During a walk through one of the prettiest flower-decked wine villages, you will be left marvelling at every turn.
