Brussels - Bruges - Antwerp The most beautiful cities in Belgium
Belgium may not be the first place that springs to mind when you think of European Christmas markets. Yet the fact is that Belgian markets are every bit as good as the most famous Christmas events on the old continent.

The Christmas markets
At the Brussels Christmas market Plaisirs d'Hiver, with its more than 200 chalets, the heart of the city beats at Christmas time. On the Grand Place, a majestic 22 m Christmas tree stretches its branches towards the sky, while the façades of the venerable guildhalls are lit up by the sound and light show.
At the Winter Lights in Bruges, various Christmas and winter activities come together: the classic Christmas market, an ice rink in a picturesque setting and atmospheric light installations.
