Emerald-green lakes in Plitvice Lakes National Park, the imposing rock faces of Paklenica National Park, the shimmering waterfalls of Krka National Park, mystical peaks above the deep gorge of the Zrmanja river and in Velebit Nature Park - all this and much more awaits you on this Deluxe coach tour. This region served as the backdrop for the film adaptations of the stories of the Native American hero Winnetou. You will feel as though you are right in the middle of a Winnetou adventure.

Day 1: Switzerland – Opatija
Journey to the Crikvenica/Opatija area on the Adriatic coast.
Day 2: Opatija - Plitvice Lakes
Drive to Plitvice Lakes National Park. The lake system consists of 16 crystal-clear lakes arranged in cascading levels, connected by waterfalls and cascades. Among other sights, you will see Lake Kaluderovac, which became famous as the "Silver Lake" in the film "The Treasure of Silver Lake", as well as the "Treasure Cave" in the rock face above. You will explore the national park on foot, by boat and by panoramic vehicle. Onward journey to the Adriatic at Petrcane.
Day 3: Kornati National Park
Breakfast at the hotel. On a boat trip, discover the impressive island world of Kornati National Park, with more than 80 islands and reefs. Crystal-clear water, rugged cliffs and unspoilt nature make this unique archipelago a paradise for nature lovers.
Day 4: Krka National Park
(Optional) Drive to the world-famous Krka Waterfalls, where parts of the Winnetou films were shot. In the film "Winnetou and Shatterhand in the Valley of Death", the two title characters paddle along this river. On the return journey, lunch awaits you in a local konoba.
In the evening, a guided tour of Zadar is on the programme (included). Afterwards, you will have time for an individual dinner in the city. Return to the hotel at around 22.00.
Day 5: Paklenica National Park
Paklenica National Park is located in the Velebit mountain range. Many scenes for the films "The Treasure of Silver Lake", "Among Vultures", "Old Surehand I" and "Winnetou and Shatterhand in the Valley of Death" were shot here. You will walk through the impressive Velika Paklenica gorge. In the afternoon, return towards the hotel with a stop in Nin, the oldest Croatian royal city.
Day 6: Island of Pag - Opatija
Drive to the island of Pag, known for Pag lace. You will visit the cheese producer Gligora, which has won numerous gold medals, and enjoy a tasting of cheese, wine and olive oil. After a short ferry crossing, you continue to the Opatija area for an overnight stop.
Day 7: Opatija - Switzerland
Return journey to Switzerland via Slovenia.

You will stay for 4 nights at the selected 4* Hotel Pinija (official national rating) in the small Mediterranean village of Petrcane, right on the seafront promenade. Zadar's old town is around 25 minutes away by coach. Enjoy the modern, comfortably furnished rooms with air conditioning and free Wi-Fi. Equivalent hotels in case of unavailability.
