Day 1: Switzerland - Portoferraio
Journey to Piombino, where you take the ferry across to the island of Elba. During the crossing you will enjoy magnificent views over the Tyrrhenian Sea. After arriving in the bustling harbour of Portoferraio, you continue to your hotel.
Day 2: Elba island tour
Island tour along Elba's wild and romantic west coast. You will discover small coastal villages, impressive scenic routes and wonderful views of the sea. Along the way, picturesque bays and charming villages invite you to linger.
Day 3: Portoferraio - Capoliveri
Portoferraio awaits you with an exciting blend of history and Mediterranean flair. Together with your tour guide, you explore the old town. In the afternoon, drive to the charming hilltop village of Capoliveri with its narrow lanes and wonderful views over the coast. After a short walk, a wine tasting with regional wines and a small snack awaits you.
Day 4: Porto Azzurro
(Optional) Visit to the lively harbour town of Porto Azzurro, with time for a stroll along the promenade. Afterwards, you take a boat trip along the coast and discover Elba from the water.
Day 5: Leisure time at the hotel
Today is at your leisure. Enjoy the amenities of your hotel with its spacious gardens and pool, or take a walk along the coast.
Day 6: Portoferraio - Switzerland
You leave Elba by ferry and reach the mainland again at Piombino. From there you begin your journey back to Switzerland, travelling through the varied landscapes of Tuscany and northern Italy.
