Day 1: Switzerland - Hamburg

Journey past Frankfurt to Hamburg.

Day 2: Hamburg - Hirtshals

Drive to the Danish border. Towards evening, you board the ultra-modern cruise ferry of Fjord Line.

Day 3: Bergen

In the morning, enjoy the crossing along the Norwegian west coast. Guided city tour of Bergen. This beautifully situated Hanseatic port city exudes an incomparable atmosphere.

Day 4: Bergen - Sogndalsfjøra

A day full of highlights (optional). You take the Bergen Railway up to Myrdal, 865 m high on the Hardangervidda, to change to the spectacular Flåm Railway, which in just 20 km takes you through a narrow mountain valley down to the water's edge at Flåm. A boat trip through the Nærøyfjord follows, surrounded by mountains up to 1,800 metres high and considered the narrowest fjord in the world.

Day 5: Sogndalsfjøra - Geiranger

In the morning, the journey leads through the mountains to the ice masses of the Jostedalsbreen. You will take a scenic walk to the glacial lake. The afternoon treats you to a wonderful boat trip through the famous Geirangerfjord.

Day 6: Trollstigen - Ålesund

The next highlight almost takes your breath away: on the Eagle Road you once again enjoy airy views of the Geirangerfjord, and over the legendary Trollstigen you descend to the sea through eleven daring hairpin bends. The picturesque Art Nouveau town of Ålesund, the most beautiful town in the country, spreads across several islands.

Day 7: Atlantic Road

A ferry takes you to Molde, the City of Roses. On the spectacular Atlantic Road, you seem to glide directly over the sea as it sweeps elegantly across seven bridges from island to island. The town of Kristiansund spreads across four idyllic islands.

Day 8: Kristiansund - Trondheim

Coach journey to Trondheim. A thousand years ago this was the capital of Norway; today it is a modern city with the charming appeal of bygone times. The old town enchants with its wooden merchants' houses and warehouses, the romantic bridge and the view of Nidaros Cathedral.

Day 9: Trondheim - Oslo

You travel along the old "King's Road" through the Dovrefjell to Dombås, marvel at one of the few surviving stave churches, so typical of Norway, in Ringebu in the Gudbrandsdal valley, pass the Olympic town of Lillehammer and follow the shore of Lake Mjøsa to Oslo. Probably Europe's most pleasant capital, it lies beautifully amid greenery, is easy to explore and generously laid out with many parks.

Day 10: Oslo - Color Line

City tour of Oslo. In the afternoon, enjoy the journey through the 70 km-long Oslofjord on board a luxury ship. Culinary delights await you in 12 different restaurants and bars. Whether a gourmet menu, lavish buffet, tapas or sushi, pizza, pasta, burgers - on board the Color Line there is something for every taste.
