A few steps take you to the leaning tower of St. Lambertus Church and on through cobbled lanes to the market square with the Renaissance town hall and the equestrian statue of Jan Wellem. To finish, you stroll across the Carlsplatz market, sample Rhenish specialities and then return to the Rhine promenade. On the way to Münster you stop at the magnificent Nordkirchen Castle. It is the largest moated castle in Westphalia and, because of its Baroque splendour and vast park, is also known as the "Westphalian Versailles".
Day 4: Münster - Hamburg
Today you are first met for a guided tour of Münster's old town. The historic old town is characterised by the Gothic St. Paul's Cathedral, the Prinzipalmarkt with its gabled houses and arcades, and the historic town hall, where the Peace of Westphalia was signed in 1648. The Baroque castle now serves as the main building of the university. You then continue to the lively Hanseatic city of Hamburg.
Day 5: Hamburg
Today you meet your city guide at the St. Pauli Landungsbrücken and set off together on a voyage of discovery. First you drive through the Speicherstadt and learn what was stored there in the past and what is stored there today. Of course, your route also takes you past the Elbphilharmonie and the HafenCity. Among other sights, you will see the celebrities' luxury villas on the banks of the Alster, as well as the town hall and the "Michel". Afterwards you are expected for a harbour cruise. Depending on the water level, you sail through the Speicherstadt and the various locks and harbour basins. You will see the enormous container ships at close quarters. The afternoon is yours to spend as you wish.
Day 6: Hamburg - Berlin
You leave Hamburg and reach the capital, Berlin, in the early afternoon. There you are already expected for a gripping city tour with all the highlights of the eastern and western parts of the city. Berlin combines historic landmarks such as the Brandenburg Gate, the Reichstag and the Berlin Wall with modern
architecture. At Schlossplatz you visit the Berlin Palace / Humboldt Forum. It shines on three sides with artful Baroque façades from the royal era. The modern east side looks directly onto the Spree and presents a completely new face. Look forward to an evening in perhaps the most exciting metropolis in Europe.
Day 7: Potsdam
Day at leisure. Perhaps you would like to visit the new Deutschlandmuseum. Experience 2,000 years in 60 minutes. (Optional) excursion to Potsdam. You will see Potsdam's most important sights, such as the Old Market, Luisenplatz, the Dutch Quarter and the numerous 19th-century townhouses. However, the best-known sight is the park and the famous Sanssouci Palace (viewed from the outside). The excursion concludes with a relaxing boat trip on the Wannsee.
Day 8: Spreewald - Dresden
From Berlin you break your journey halfway in the Spreewald. During a punt trip through the canals, a punt operator tells you about customs and traditions as well as the特 character and peculiarities of the landscape. You travel through the unique landscape of the Hochwald. A taste of the famous Spreewald gherkins is of course part of the experience. Arrival in Dresden in the early evening.
Day 9: Dresden - Munich
