Day 1: Switzerland - Amsterdam
Journey through Alsace, Luxembourg and Belgium to Amsterdam.
Day 2: Keukenhof and Delft
A colourful morning awaits you with a visit to Keukenhof, the largest open-air flower show in the world. Millions of tulips are planted every year and bloom from March to May. At a grower's, you will learn how the many different flowers are cultivated. Afterwards, you will stroll with a tour guide through the dreamy little town of Delft, which has preserved its original character, with its water-lily-covered canals, to this day.
Day 3: Rotterdam & Kinderdijk
In the morning, you will discover Rotterdam on a harbour cruise through the largest seaport in Europe. In the afternoon, you will experience the famous windmills of Kinderdijk, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, on a relaxing boat trip and a walk through the historic mill landscape.
Day 4: Aalsmeer flower auction and Amsterdam
Drive to Aalsmeer to visit the largest flower auction in the world. More than 10 million flowers are sold every day in huge auction halls. You then continue to Amsterdam. Free time in the centre for lunch. In the afternoon, you will get to know Amsterdam from a different perspective on a canal cruise.
Day 5: Flower parade and Volendam
One of the highlights of the trip is the world-famous Bloemencorso Bollenstreek. From reserved grandstand seats in Noordwijk, you will experience at close quarters this colourful spectacle of magnificent floats artfully decorated with spring flowers, music and imaginative displays. In the afternoon, you will visit the traditional fishing villages of Volendam and Marken with their typically Dutch charm.
Day 6: Amsterdam - Switzerland
Journey back to Switzerland.
