Day 1: Switzerland - Dublin

Flight from Zurich to Dublin and transfer to your hotel.

Day 2: Dublin - Belfast

Onward journey to Belfast, which you will reach around midday. An interesting city tour follows. The wonderful cityscape is shaped by Victorian buildings. You will admire many sights, such as City Hall and the Grand Opera House. (Optional) Visit to the highly recommended Titanic Museum, located at the historic site where the ship was built. A multimedia experience tour brings the construction and sinking of the ship vividly to life with special effects.

Day 3: Belfast - Letterkenny

Visit and tasting at Bushmills, the oldest whiskey distillery in the world. At the bizarrely beautiful coastal landscape of the Giant's Causeway, you will encounter 40,000 perfectly hexagonal basalt columns (UNESCO World Heritage Site) rising out of the sea. Overnight stay in Letterkenny.

Day 4: Donegal

Excursion along the famous Knockalla Coast Road into the rugged beauty of the Fanad Head Peninsula, to the magnificent beach at Ballymastocker, which The Observer newspaper ranks among the most beautiful beaches in the world. Fanad Lighthouse is every photographer's favourite subject. You will travel past lakes, extensive bogland, gorse and green mountains to Donegal's greatest attraction, Glenveagh National Park with its neo-Gothic castle.

Day 5: Slieve League – Westport

At 600 metres, the cliffs of Slieve League are among the highest in Europe and offer unique views over the rugged Atlantic. From here, your journey continues to Mullaghmore. On a relaxing stroll along the beach, you can enjoy the wind and the waves. In the evening, you will reach your hotel in the Westport area.

Day 6: Achill Island - Galway

Excursion to Achill Island, Ireland's largest island. It is 22 km long and 19 km wide and can only be reached by a bridge. Achill offers moorland, mountains, steep cliffs and wide beaches. The sea and lakes, picturesque coastlines and peat bogs, dark rivers and green forests define the heathland landscape of Connemara.

Day 7: Burren - Cliffs of Moher

You will cross the primeval, moon-like landscape of the Burren karst region. Stop at the "Cliffs of Moher", which rise vertically from the sea to heights of up to 200 m over a length of almost 8 km. Continue to Kilrush. You will cross the Shannon estuary by ferry before reaching Killarney towards evening.

Day 8: Ring of Kerry

(Optional excursion) On the legendary Ring of Kerry, the clocks tick more slowly and you feel literally transported back to the "good old days". The scent of peat fires drifts to your nose. Explore the spectacular scenic route around the Iveragh Peninsula and let yourself be swept along by the unhurried pace of the idyllic villages with their colourful stone houses.

Day 9: Killarney - Dublin

You will travel north-east to Dublin. On a guided city tour, you will see the main highlights of the Irish capital. (Optional) Visit to Trinity College, whose impressive old library houses Ireland's most valuable manuscript: the magnificently illustrated "Book of Kells".

Day 10: Dublin - Switzerland

Return flight to Zurich.
