Day 1: Switzerland - Island of Krk
Journey via Milan and Verona to the island of Krk. Our hotel is located right by the sea on the picturesque island of Krk. Croatia has over 1,200 islands, of which only around 67 are inhabited. The next few days are all about island hopping.
The last boarding point in Switzerland is Lucerne, Inseli coach parking, at 08.10.
Day 2: Island of Cres - Island of Lošinj
Today we take the ferry to the island of Cres. Largely unspoilt nature gives this island its charm: stony landscapes with fragrant sage bushes and, in the midst of it all, the beautiful freshwater lake "Vransko jezero". A canal just 9 m wide, near the village of Osor, separates it from the island of Mali Lošinj.
Day 3: Plitvice Lakes National Park
(Optional excursion) Today you have the opportunity to visit Croatia's best-known natural attraction. A unique natural spectacle awaits you. Admire more than a dozen turquoise-green lakes that are at once spectacular, impressive and restorative. National Geographic included the park in its top 20 most beautiful travel destinations in the world.
Day 4: Island of Rab
Today we visit the island of Rab, which boasts an astonishing variety of landscapes. The four distinctive church towers are the emblem of the old town, which is among the most beautiful along the entire Adriatic coast. (Optional excursion) To finish, we drive to a konoba for a dinner of traditional local cuisine.
Day 5: Krk Island Tour
Our island tour begins with a visit to the town of Krk, with its famous cathedral inside the town walls. In the picturesque village of Vrbnik, a wine and ham tasting awaits us in one of the authentic wine cellars. Besides its location high up on a hillside above the sea, Vrbnik is known for producing one of the best Croatian wines. This is followed by a boat trip to the monastery island of Kosljun with its Franciscan monastery.
Day 6: Island of Krk - Switzerland
Return journey via Trieste, Venice and Milan to Switzerland.

Hotels
You will stay for 5 nights at the popular 3* Hotel Magal by Aminess (official national category) in the former fishing village of Njivice on the island of Krk. The hotel is surrounded by a picturesque oak forest and is just 150 m from the sea. All rooms have air conditioning, bath or shower/WC, Wi-Fi, satellite TV and
telephone. A hotel of equivalent standard will be used if this hotel is unavailable.
