Day 1: Switzerland - Hanover
Journey via Basel and Frankfurt to Hanover.
The last boarding point in Switzerland is Basel, Meret Oppenheim-Strasse, at 09.10.
Day 2: Bremerhaven
Visit to maritime Bremerhaven. Where emigrants once set off for the unknown land of America, German cars are now loaded for export.
Day 3: Island of Norderney
Excursion to Norderney, the "Queen of the East Frisian Islands". The white house façades still exude the charm of the Gründerzeit era, while wide beaches with magnificent dune landscapes beckon all around.
Day 4: Island of Neuwerk
(Optional) Just 30 inhabitants, a school with two children and an area of three square kilometres: Neuwerk is a village in the Wadden Sea. The viewing platform of the lighthouse offers far-reaching views across the island.
Day 5: Offshore island of Heligoland
Heligoland, Germany's only offshore island, lies in the middle of the North Sea. The white sand of the bathing dune, the blue-green sea all around and the unspoilt nature with its rare seabirds attract visitors. Onward journey by boat to Büsum.
Day 6: Island of Sylt
A train takes you to the island of Sylt, which has a reputation as a "jet-set" paradise. You will discover the many facets of Sylt: the glamorous Westerland and unspoilt dune landscapes.
Day 7: Island of Amrum
(Optional) Walk to the viewing dune with views as far as the Halligen. Passing the picturesque Wriakhörnsee lake nestled in the dunes, you reach the lighthouse and the oldest island village, Steenodde.
Day 8: Eiderstedt - Celle
Fascinating dune landscapes and stilt houses – this is how St. Peter-Ording presents itself on the Eiderstedt peninsula. Via Hamburg you travel into the heart of the Lüneburg Heath.
Day 9: Celle - Switzerland
Return journey from Celle to Switzerland.

You will stay in selected 3* hotels and 4* hotels (official national rating). The 4*Sup Hotel Haverkamp (official national category) is located directly on the North Sea coast in Bremerhaven and offers you comfortable rooms. In Husum you will stay just a few steps from the old harbour at the 3* Hotel Hinrichsen (official national category). The comfortable rooms in all the hotels are equipped with bath or shower/WC, hairdryer and satellite TV. Equivalent hotels in case of unavailability.
