Day 1: Switzerland - Ludwigsburg
You travel via Stuttgart to Ludwigsburg. Arrival at approx. 13:00. The arrangement of the Christmas market chalets, with its symmetrical layout, is modelled on a Baroque garden or town plan. The glowing light arches, the radiant angels and the lovingly decorated stalls whisk you away into an eventful winter wonderland.
Day 2: Ludwigsburg - Switzerland
A stroll through the attractive shops of the town centre is well worth your while. Wander across the market square with its two Baroque churches, the arcades and the central statue of the town's founder, Duke Eberhard Ludwig. Or visit his Residential Palace, which with 452 rooms in 18 buildings is known as the "Swabian Versailles". 14:00 Return journey via Stuttgart to the boarding points, or extension night.

Wilhelm Galerie: Popular centre spread over 2 floors. Here you will find everything your heart desires: from a supermarket and trendy fashion stores to sports and jewellery shops.

The Christmas market
In the heart of the town centre, on the picturesque market square, 160 stalls await you with toys, handicrafts, nativity scenes, candles, marionettes, Christmas tree decorations, glassblowers with glassware, honey cake, soups, potato dishes, and regional cheese and sausage specialities.

Hotels
The 4* Hotel Nestor (official national category) is housed in the former garrison bakery dating from 1874. In this listed brick building with its large round-arched windows, bread was baked for the military during the garrison era. Today the hotel offers 179 newly renovated non-smoking rooms with bath or shower/WC, hairdryer, TV, Wi-Fi and minibar. It also has a restaurant, a bar, a fitness room, a sauna and a steam bath. An equivalent hotel will be provided if unavailable.
