Day 1: Switzerland - Luxembourg
Journey via Metz to Luxembourg. Arrival at approx. 15:00. Visit the cosy Christmas markets spread throughout the city. The city has plenty to offer, as "Winterlights", the festival of lights and entertainment, takes place during Advent, transforming Luxembourg into a sparkling, fairytale world of light. Attractions such as the Ferris wheel, the Advent circus and concerts make your visit an unforgettable experience.
Day 2: Excursion to Trier
Discover the city in its Christmas finery at your own pace. The city offers a wealth of historical and cultural sights. Or how about a long Christmas stroll along the "Grand Rue"?
Optional: In the afternoon you have the opportunity to join an excursion to the German city of Trier, where the romantic Christmas market awaits you against the imposing backdrop of Trier Cathedral. Trier's Christmas market features 95 festively decorated wooden chalets selling gifts, Christmas items and treats.
Day 3: Luxembourg - Switzerland
Take one last stroll along the "Corniche" and enjoy the wonderful view of the opposite side of the valley with the elegant façades of the aristocratic houses. 11:00 departure.
The Christmas markets
During Advent, around 70 charming wooden chalets and a richly decorated fir tree on Place d'Armes adorn Luxembourg's old town. Indulge in typical Luxembourg specialities such as Gromperekichelcher (potato fritters), Mettwurscht (smoked sausage) and homemade chocolate....

You will stay at the 4* Hotel Novotel Luxembourg Centre (official national rating), located in the historic centre of Luxembourg. The Christmas market at Place d'Armes and other sights are just a 15-minute walk away. The modern and comfortable rooms feature a bathroom or shower/WC, hairdryer, TV, Wi-Fi and a safe. The hotel offers a restaurant, bar and fitness area. An equivalent hotel will be used if this one is unavailable.
