Dates and prices
Visit to the "Fromagerie 'Alpage" in the beautiful Gruyère region. In a typical alpine chalet dating from 1686, you will discover traditional, handcrafted cheesemaking in a large copper cauldron over an open fire. Here you will experience the living tradition of a mountain hut.
Afterwards, you will ‘climb’ the imposing Moléson by funicular and then cover the final stretch by cable car.
At the summit, in the restaurant ‘Le Sommet’, a delicious two-course lunch awaits you. Enjoy your meal!
The Moléson is a true symbol of the Fribourg Prealps and has developed into a real adventure mountain. In clear weather, the summit (2,002 m above sea level) reveals a breathtaking view from Lake Geneva to the Jura and from Mont Blanc to the peaks of the Bernese Oberland.
After this magnificent panorama, you may feel like a short hike, a visit to the famous ‘Maison Cailler’ in Broc or a stroll through the picturesque town of Gruyères.
We would be delighted to put together an individual afternoon programme for you.
