Day 1: Switzerland - Nice
Journey along the Gotthard route with lunch in Bissone. In the evening you will reach the metropolis of the Côte d’Azur and your absolute dream hotel on the Promenade des Anglais.
(4 nights at Hotel Le Negresco*****).
Day 2: Nice - Circus Festival
In the morning, city tour with the guide. Nice is as colourful as a rainbow: the bay blue, the roofs red, the houses ochre yellow and the gardens green. The Mediterranean light makes the colours shine more intensely than anywhere else. Over dinner in Monaco you will fortify yourself for the exciting opening of the 49th Monte Carlo Circus Festival. Circus visit at 20.00. The show begins with a 30-minute interval.
2nd trip: Visit to the "Show des Vainqueurs" featuring only award-winning acts.
Day 3: Nice - Circus Festival or excursion to Grasse
In the morning, enjoy the markets of Nice or stroll along the world-famous Promenade des Anglais. (Optional) In the afternoon the excitement builds: curtain up for the 2nd show with different performers.
2nd trip: Drive to Grasse and guided walking tour of the town. The town is known worldwide for its perfume industry. Visit to the Fragonard perfumery. Seductive fragrances await you. During a workshop you will have the unique opportunity to create your own eau de toilette.
Day 4: Cannes
Free time in Nice or (optional) excursion to Cannes. This town is far more than just a glamorous setting for the annual film festival. You will naturally stroll along the "Croisette", an ideal spot for a leisurely walk, gazing out to sea and soaking up the atmosphere. A wander through the historic old town, a visit to the Forville market hall and the obligatory photo on the red carpet in front of the Palais des Festivals are all part of your day in Cannes, along with a little free time. On the way back to the hotel you will enjoy a wine tasting at Château de Bellet.
Day 5: Nice - Switzerland
Journey home along the Riviera.
