Day 1: Switzerland - Opatija

Outward journey through Ticino, past Venice and on via Portorož to Opatija, the pearl of the Kvarner. (4 nights at the Keight Hotel Opatija Curio Collection by Hilton).

Day 2: Opatija

With the local tour guide, you take a leisurely stroll along the "Lungomare", Opatija's seafront promenade. You will be fascinated by the unique architecture, the magnificent villas from the Habsburg era and the park of Villa Angiolina with its precious flowers and trees. Lunch is at leisure, with time to explore on your own in the afternoon.

Day 3: Motovun - Rovinj

(Optional) Drive to Motovun, probably the most spectacular fortified town in Istria. The medieval town sits majestically on a steep hill above the Mirna Valley. At an exclusive tasting of the noble truffle, you will experience the intense aroma and versatility of this world-famous delicacy. Crossing the Učka Pass, you reach the picturesque coastal town of Rovinj. Stroll through the dreamy, winding lanes of the old town. Afterwards, you change perspective: on a panoramic boat trip, you glide along the coast. The crowning finale of the day is a creative fine-dining menu at the
1-star Michelin restaurant Nebo. (Included).

Day 4: Island of Krk

Discover Croatia's "Golden Island" on a varied day trip that perfectly combines historic treasures, scenic beauty and culinary highlights. Boat trip to the little monastery island of Košljun, where you visit the idyllic Franciscan monastery. In the afternoon, the journey takes you to the wine village of Vrbnik, spectacularly perched on a steep rock above the sea. In an authentic cellar, you are welcomed to a tasting of white wines and a hearty ham tasting.

Day 5: Kvarner Bay - Switzerland

Journey home to Switzerland.
