Day 1: Switzerland – Portoroz
Journey to Portoroz.
Day 2: Jewels of the Slovenian coast
The Mediterranean towns of Piran, Izola and Koper entice visitors with their medieval old towns and holiday atmosphere. The coastal town of Piran lies directly on the Adriatic coast in the south-west of Slovenia. On a guided walk, you will get to know this jewel more closely. Via the resorts of Izola and Koper, you return to your hotel in time for dinner.
Day 3: Gala concert in Trieste
Spend the morning in Portoroz entirely as you wish. Afterwards, you first head to Miramare Castle, built under Emperor Maximilian of Habsburg. From here, you can enjoy an enchanting view. After an exterior visit of this magnificent noble residence, you continue to the former port city of the Austrian monarchy: Trieste. Take a stroll and use the time for an early dinner. In the evening, the highlight of the trip awaits you: the gala concert by the Vienna Symphony Orchestra at the Politeama Rossetti in Trieste, featuring stirring arias, duets and orchestral works.
Day 4: Postojna and Lipica
In the morning, you visit the largest Lipizzaner stud farm in the world, whose proud tradition dates back to 1580. Be captivated by the grace and elegance of these noble horses and learn more about their breeding and training. Afterwards, the queen of the Karst region awaits you: the impressive Postojna Cave, one of the world's greatest natural wonders. Admire magnificent stalactite formations and a diverse range of wildlife. A picturesque train ride takes you deep into this underground paradise. Back at the hotel, your farewell dinner is already waiting for you.
Day 5: Portoroz - Switzerland
Return journey to Switzerland.
