The Byzantine mosaics of San Vitale in Ravenna are a unique cultural treasure of worldwide renown. In the city of Bologna, a rich cultural heritage awaits at every turn, shaped by its famous arcades and its time-honoured university. At the Teatro Alighieri, named in honour of the author of the "Divina Commedia", the Ravenna Festival pays tribute to Mozart with three performances. The productions are directed by the highly esteemed Chiara Muti.

Day 1: Switzerland – Ravenna
Journey via Bologna to Ravenna. Your 4* hotel is located in the heart of the historic old town. Dinner at a carefully selected restaurant.
Day 2: Ravenna & Opera
On a walking tour of the city, you will see the most important monuments from the Gothic and Byzantine eras. Ravenna is world-famous above all for its ancient wall mosaics, which have survived fully intact. You will visit the Basilica of San Vitale, which art connoisseurs call the "Wonder of Ravenna". Free afternoon. In the evening, opera aperitif and performance.
Day 3: Excursion to Bologna & Opera
Bologna boasts one of the most beautiful and best-preserved old towns in Europe, with many medieval towers and approximately 40 km of arcades linking the sprawling city centre with its pedestrian zones, squares, churches and palaces. On a walking tour of the old university city, you will get to know its most important sights. Afterwards, enjoy some free time in the city. Return to Ravenna. In the evening, opera aperitif and performance.
Day 4: Ravenna & Concert
Today is yours to spend as you wish until late afternoon. Enjoy Ravenna's special atmosphere, stroll through the charming lanes or treat yourself in one of the cosy cafés. Mozart's moving "Requiem" will provide another musical highlight of your trip. To round off your journey in festive style, you will enjoy a farewell dinner together at Ristorante Marchesini, where you can look back on the wonderful impressions of the past few days in convivial company.
Day 5: Ravenna - Switzerland
Return journey to Switzerland.
