The city of Mozart, Salzburg, captivates visitors with its unique flair and magic, particularly during Advent. In the narrow lanes, the cheerful bustle of the Salzburg Christkindlmarkt spreads a cosy warmth, while the sound of the many church bells heralds the approach of Christmas. The city is pleasantly compact, yet at the same time has a touch of cosmopolitan charm.

Day 1: Switzerland - Salzburg
You travel via the Arlberg to the enchanting Baroque city of Salzburg. Arrival at approx. 16:45.
Day 2: Gut Aiderbichl - Salzburg
(Optional) Today you have the opportunity to visit what is probably the best-known farm in the Salzburg region. Every year at Christmas, Gut Aiderbichl and its animals shine with a very special glow. Regional delicacies such as mulled wine or punch will also take care of your culinary needs. By the campfire in the courtyard, you can bake tasty bread on a stick. In the afternoon, return to Salzburg.
As an alternative to the optional excursion, you can explore the Baroque city and its Christkindl markets at your own pace. Salzburg's historic centre is an outstanding UNESCO World Heritage site. Magnificent churches, squares and fountains merge into a magic that draws people under its spell. The city is overlooked by its two hills, the Mönchsberg and the Festungsberg, at whose feet the Old Town lies.
The Christmas market at Mirabellplatz enchants visitors against the splendid backdrop of Mirabell Palace. The "starry sky" on Domplatz and Residenzplatz gives the Christmas market its unmistakable look. You will have time for shopping in the festively lit Getreidegasse, for indulging in the famous Café Tomaselli or for a visit to Mozart's birthplace.
Day 3: Innsbruck - Switzerland
Drive to Innsbruck, the capital of the Austrian federal state of Tyrol. On the square in front of the world-famous Golden Roof, you can visit the Innsbruck Christmas market. A large illuminated Christmas tree and numerous festively decorated stalls will put you in a pre-Christmas mood. Arcades and ancient houses give this city its special character. In the afternoon, return journey to Switzerland.
