Day 1: Switzerland – Ossiach
Your journey takes you from Switzerland across the Alps to Carinthia and Lake Ossiach. Check in at your hotel in Ossiach and enjoy dinner.
Day 2: Lake Weissensee – Irschen
On a boat trip across Lake Weissensee, you will enjoy the impressive mountain scenery of the nature park. Afterwards, the chairlift takes you up to 1,324 m, and a short walk leads to the rustic hut of the Naggler Alm. In the afternoon, you will visit the herb village of Irschen: thanks to the sunny climate and the species-rich mountain meadows, numerous wild and cultivated herbs thrive here, which you will get to know on a guided walk.
Day 3: Klagenfurt – Pyramidenkogel – Velden
On a guided tour of Klagenfurt, the capital of Carinthia, you will discover the old town with its Renaissance buildings and the Lindwurm Fountain. You then drive up the Pyramidenkogel: from the 100 m high wooden tower, the view stretches far across Lake Wörthersee. In Velden, there is time for a stroll along the lakeside promenade or a coffee break with a view of the lake.
Day 4: Nockalm Road – Gmünd – Lake Millstatt
Today an optional day trip is available (opt.): on the Nockalm Road with its 52 hairpin bends, you will experience one of Carinthia's most beautiful panoramic roads. In the afternoon, you will visit the artists' town of Gmünd with its medieval old town and historic town gates, before finishing at Lake Millstatt. If the panoramic drive does not appeal to you, you can enjoy a relaxing day at Lake Ossiach. In the evening, Carinthian farmhouse buffet with musical entertainment.
Day 5: Ossiach – Switzerland
After breakfast, it is time to say goodbye to Carinthia. Journey home to Switzerland.

3* Gasthof Zur Post (official national category) in the centre of Ossiach, just a few minutes' walk from the shore of Lake Ossiach. The modern rooms have a bathroom and satellite TV, and some also have a balcony. The day begins with a generous breakfast buffet, and in the evening the restaurant serves Carinthian specialities and international dishes. Equivalent hotel if unavailable.
