DAY 1: SWITZERLAND - LONDON - SALISBURY

Flight from Zurich to London and transfer to Salisbury, where you will stay at the romantic Hotel Legacy Rose and Crown. This historic 13th-century inn captivates with its views of the River Avon and the cathedral, which you can enjoy during your stay.

DAY 2: SALISBURY - STONEHENGE

In Salisbury you will visit the mighty cathedral, a masterpiece of English Gothic architecture. Breamore House is among the country's most important Elizabethan manor houses. Still inhabited today, this country estate offers a special insight into the traditions and way of life of the English landed gentry. You then continue to the mysterious 5,000-year-old stone circle of Stonehenge. Its basic layout consists of an outer ring and an inner horseshoe of sandstone blocks.

DAY 3: STOURHEAD - CORNWALL

At Stourhead you will stroll through the pinnacle of British garden design. In 1720, the banker Henry Hoare had a lake landscape with temples and grottoes in the classical style created around a pond by his country house. Stourhead is regarded as the most famous example of "painted" landscapes. Via Exeter and its distinctive skyline, you reach the wild and romantic Dartmoor National Park. Overnight stay in St Austell, in the heart of Cornwall. Various scenes from the Pilcher films were also shot at "The Cornwall" hotel.

DAY 4: CORNWALL - LAND'S END

(Optional excursion) With your tour guide, you travel to England's westernmost point, Land's End. Typical of Cornwall are romantic coastal towns, small farms, narrow lanes, whitewashed cottages, moorland and hills. St Ives was once a sleepy fishing village with colourful houses, until painters and sculptors arrived, drawn by the intense light. Rosamunde Pilcher spent her childhood here.

DAY 5: CORNWALL - BRISTOL

With your tour guide, you follow once more in the footsteps of Rosamunde Pilcher and visit the manor house Prideaux Place, which has been home to the Prideaux-Brune family for 400 years. It repeatedly serves as a film location and invites you to enjoy a typical "cream tea" with scones and strawberry jam. In Clovelly, a former pirate haven, you will feel as if you are on the "Coast of Dreams" and walk down the 120 m to the picturesque, car-free fishing village. Towards evening you arrive in Bristol.

DAY 6: BATH - LONDON - SWITZERLAND

Short drive to Bath for a walking tour of the city. The Royal Crescent, the Circus, the Assembly Rooms, the Theatre Royal and much more are a must. Transfer to London and return flight to Switzerland.
