Day 1: Switzerland - The Hague
Journey to The Hague on the North Sea.
Day 2: Aalsmeer - Amsterdam
In the morning you will visit the world's largest flower auction in Aalsmeer – a fascinating place where over ten million flowers are traded every day. Experience the bustling activity in the huge auction halls and gain fascinating insights into the international flower trade. You then continue to Amsterdam, where a guided city walk will introduce you to the main sights of this charming city of canals. Afterwards you will have free time to explore the capital at your own pace. Particularly worthwhile: a canal cruise, which lets you experience Amsterdam from the water as the “Venice of the North”.
Day 3: Keukenhof
A colourful highlight of your trip is the visit to the world-famous Keukenhof, the largest flower show in the world. Millions of tulips, daffodils and hyacinths transform the sprawling park into a fragrant sea of blossom every spring. At lunchtime you will stop in the idyllic town of Leiden, whose canals and historic gabled houses exude typical Dutch charm. In the afternoon you can enjoy a leisurely windmill cruise through the Kagerplassen, an extensive lake district of polder landscapes, grazing cows, windmills and small villages. After this relaxing boat trip, the coach takes you back to The Hague.
Day 4: The Hague - Switzerland
Return journey to Switzerland.
