Day 1: Switzerland - Venice

Journey past Milan to Venice. You will reach your hotel comfortably by water taxi. Dinner together at the selected

Hotel Indigo Venice Sant' Elena.

Day 2: Venice

Venice awaits you! Countless palaces, fascinating squares, romantic waterways and canals beckon. The day is at your leisure. Let yourself drift through narrow, picturesque lanes or enjoy a cappuccino at the legendary "Florian", the oldest café in Italy. (Optional) In the footsteps of Donna Leon. A very special city tour awaits you today as an option. Following Commissario Brunetti, you will discover the settings and secrets of the crime classics. From St Mark's Square, continue to the San Lorenzo police headquarters, where Brunetti's office is located. You will also see Campo S. Aponal, where Brunetti's home is said to be according to Donna Leon, and experience the atmosphere of this place.

Day 3: Venice

Start your individual day with a wonderful breakfast and set off to discover Venice. (Optional) How about a visit to the lagoon islands of Murano, Burano and Torcello? On this full-day boat trip through the unique Venetian lagoon, you will get to know the three most important islands. Torcello, now almost uninhabited, was the centre of the earliest culture in the lagoon. Murano, by contrast, is world-famous for its art of glassblowing. On Burano you will then feel transported to another world, a rural 19th-century fishing village. Its brightly coloured houses once attracted many painters. The fine bobbin lace that has been made here since the 16th century is famous throughout the world.

Day 4: Venice - Switzerland

A Venetian motoscafo water taxi takes you to Tronchetto, and from there you return to Switzerland via the Gotthard route.
