Day 1: Switzerland - Torbole
Journey via the Arlberg and Reschen Pass to Lake Garda.
Day 2: The old Ponale road
Experience an impressive panoramic walk along the historic Ponale road. Your route climbs gently, with magnificent views, along the steep western slopes of Lake Garda to your coffee break. The coffee break, with its dreamy panoramic views, invites you to linger. After a short, steeper climb, another gentle ascent follows into the Ledro Valley. You cover the last stage by coach before reaching the idyllic Lake Ledro. (Walking time approx. 3 hrs 15 min., 7.9 km, 420 metres of ascent, difficulty: easy + short, steep climb).
Day 3: Pilgrim road on the eastern shore
Discover the varied landscapes of Lake Garda on a panoramic walk from the small village of Pai to Torri del Benaco. The path leads you through hidden hamlets, centuries-old olive groves and lush woods. A particular highlight is the new suspension bridge, which offers breathtaking views across the entire lake. After the bridge, a short, steeper descent on a gravel track follows, before a leisurely path takes you to the picturesque old town of Torri del Benaco. Treat yourself to a well-earned break here. You then continue by coach to Bardolino, where you will taste delicious Bardolino wines. (Walking time approx. 2.5 hrs, 7.5 km, 230 metres of ascent, difficulty: easy, one short descent on a gravel track after the suspension bridge).
Day 4: Riva, Malcesine and Limone
(Optional) You begin with an hour-long walk along the shore to Riva del Garda. You then continue by boat to Malcesine, where you stroll through winding alleyways on a guided town tour. In the early afternoon, the boat takes you to Limone sul Garda. Stroll through the lanes and then visit a historic lemon house before returning by boat to Torbole.
Day 5: Sentiero Busatte Tempesta
Look forward to an impressive walk along the Sentiero Busatte–Tempesta, one of the most beautiful panoramic trails at Lake Garda. To start the day at a leisurely pace, the coach takes you from Torbole to Nago, which lies higher up. The scenic high-level path runs high above the lake and repeatedly offers spectacular views of Lake Garda and the surrounding mountain landscape. A special experience are the extremely sturdy, wobble-free metal staircases built along the steep rock faces, which constantly open up new and fascinating perspectives. After the walk, you travel to Arco, where you will have time for a late lunch of your own choosing. You then get to know the charming spa town better on a guided tour. Arco is known for its mild climate, its elegant old town and the imposing Arco Castle, which sits on a rock high above the town. Overnight stay and dinner at the Hotel Piccolo Mondo****. (Walking time approx. 3 hrs, 7.2 km, 180 m ascent, 320 m descent, difficulty: moderate).
Day 6: Lake Garda - Switzerland
Return journey to Switzerland.

You will stay at the selected 4* Hotel Piccolo Mondo (official national rating) in Torbole. All rooms are equipped with shower or bath/WC, air conditioning, safe, TV, minibar and balcony. The hotel has a restaurant, a bar, an indoor pool, an outdoor pool, a spa area with sauna, gardens, a lift and free Wi-Fi. A hotel of equivalent standard will be used if the hotel is unavailable.

LEISURELY WALKING
On walks that are mostly easy, occasionally somewhat more challenging, you will discover the true charm of your holiday destination together with like-minded people. A varied combination of coach travel and rambles through nature awaits you.
GROUP SIZE
The maximum number of participants is 36. Larger groups are generally divided into 2 ability levels, each with its own walking guide, taking the guests' fitness into account. We only split into 2 groups from around 20 participants (this varies depending on the walking holiday and region). On some walking holidays, larger groups are not divided at all.
WALKING GUIDES AND ROUTES
All tours are accompanied by local, German-speaking walking guides. The routes have been carefully selected and the individual stages checked on site to ensure everything runs smoothly. Walks and routes may be adapted depending on the weather. Programme changes reserved.
ACCOMPANYING COACH
Our coach driver will take you safely and reliably to your destination and accompany you by coach on the daily tours. If you become tired during the excursions, you can join the coach at various points along the way.
EQUIPMENT RECOMMENDATIONS
To make sure you enjoy your walking holiday to the full, comfortable clothing is recommended. Rain protection should also not be missing from your luggage. You will find further equipment tips in your travel documents.
