Day 1: Switzerland - Hanover
Journey via Basel and Frankfurt to Hanover.
The last boarding point in Switzerland is Basel, Meret Oppenheim-Strasse, at 09.10.
Day 2: Münsterland - Jever
Drive to the Münsterland, which is known for its numerous moated castles. Leisurely walk to Hülshoff moated castle. Onward journey to East Frisia. (Walking time approx. 2.5 hrs)
Day 3: Mudflat walk to Baltrum
With an experienced mudflat guide, you will cross the impressive Wadden Sea today as far as the island of Baltrum. The afternoon is at your leisure. (Walking time approx. 3 hrs)
Day 4: Sielort walk
Today you will walk along the Wadden Sea from Bensersiel to Ostbense. Coach journey to the Seriem mill. The walk continues to Neuharlingersiel and over the dyke to Harlesiel. Paddle steamer trip on the Harle. (Walking time approx. 4 hrs)
Day 5: Coastal walk
Today's walk takes you from Hooksiel to Horumersiel outside the dyke through the Crildumer Bay, then back over old dykes and the Groden. (Walking time approx. 4 hrs)
Day 6: Island of Langeoog
Boat trip to the island of Langeoog and a short ride on the island railway. This is followed by a walk through varied dune landscapes. (Walking time approx. 3 hrs)
Day 7: Wittmund - Bremen - Hamm
Walking tour of Bremen. Drive to Hamm.
Day 8: Hamm - Switzerland
Return journey from Hamm to Switzerland.

Hotels
You will stay in selected 3* and 4* hotels (official national category). In the heart of East Frisia, in Jever, you will spend 5 nights at the family-run 3* Hotel Schützenhof (official national category). The comfortable rooms are equipped with bath or shower/WC, hairdryer, cable TV and minibar. Excellent regional cuisine is served in the restaurant. Enjoy the spacious spa area with swimming pool. Equivalent hotels in the event of unavailability.

LEISURELY WALKING
On mostly easy, occasionally slightly more demanding walks, you will discover the true charm of your holiday destination together with like-minded people. You can look forward to a varied combination of coach travel and rambles through nature.
GROUP SIZE
The maximum number of participants is 29. Larger groups are generally divided into 2 ability levels, each with its own walking tour guide, taking into account the fitness of the guests. We only split into 2 groups from around 20 people (this varies depending on the walking tour and region). On some walking tours, larger groups are not divided at all.
WALKING TOUR GUIDES AND ROUTES
All tours are accompanied by local, German-speaking walking tour guides. The routes have been carefully selected and the individual stages checked on site to ensure everything runs smoothly. Walks and routes may be adapted depending on the weather. Programme changes reserved.
ACCOMPANYING COACH
Our coach driver will take you safely and reliably to your destination and accompany you with the coach on the daily tours. If you get tired during the excursions, you can board the coach at various points along the way.
EQUIPMENT RECOMMENDATIONS
To make sure you enjoy your walking tour to the full, we recommend comfortable clothing. Rain protection should also not be missing from your luggage. You will find further equipment tips in the travel documents.
