Day 1: Switzerland - Tortoreto Lido
Journey past Bologna to the Adriatic coast.
Day 2: Tortoreto - Carovigno
Travelling south along the coast, you reach the mystical, octagonal Castel del Monte, also known as the "Stone Crown of Puglia". Continue south to Carovigno/Torre Santa Sabina by the sea.
Day 3: Alberobello - Ostuni
With your tour guide, you will discover the garden landscape of Puglia and marvel at the original white "conical-roofed houses" in Alberobello, the "town of 1,000 trulli". Ostuni owes its nickname "White Town" to its beautiful old town with whitewashed limestone houses. Built on three hills, it offers a wonderful view over the olive groves of the plain.
Day 4: Orecchiette - Monopoli
A relaxed day with an orecchiette cooking class in the morning and a light lunch. In the afternoon, an excursion to the little harbour town of Monopoli, which has preserved its authentic Pugliese charm.
Day 5: Lecce - Gallipoli
(Optional excursion) Drive to the "Florence of the South" - Lecce. On the west coast of the heel, Gallipoli welcomes you with a sea of houses in every shade of white. Return journey through the Galatina wine region.
Day 6: Matera - San Severino
The highlight of today is the guided tour of the impressive cave dwellings of Matera. Continue to Mercato San Severino near Salerno.
Day 7: Amalfi Coast - Castiglion
Enjoy a leisurely boat trip from Salerno to Amalfi and back to Salerno. Admire the rugged cliffs of the Amalfi Coast. In the afternoon, continue to southern Tuscany, to Castiglion Fiorentino in the Arezzo area.
Day 8: Castiglion - Switzerland
Journey home to Switzerland.
