Dates and prices
Day 1: Switzerland – Portoferraio
You travel by Comfort coach to Piombino, then cross by ferry to Portoferraio. You arrive at your hotel late in the evening and enjoy dinner in the hotel restaurant.
Day 2: Capo di Calamita & visit to Capoliveri
Today's walk takes you through pine forest around the "magnetic mountain" Monte Calamita. During the walk of about three hours, you will enjoy fascinating views over the Bay of Porto Azzurro. In the afternoon, you visit the picturesque mountain village of Capoliveri, which sits high above the sea and rewards you with magnificent panoramas.
Day 3: Monte Capanne
Today you walk through charming mountain villages to Elba's highest peak, Monte Capanne. The grand view over Tuscany and the Mediterranean is a fitting reward for this somewhat more demanding stage.
Day 4: Napoleon's Path
Today you follow a path that Napoleon had built to reach his summer residence. From Monte Tambone you walk through green maquis and arrive at San Martino. In the afternoon, you explore Portoferraio, the island's main town.
Day 5: Five-bay walk Viticcio - Procchio
Today the coach takes you to the fishing village of Viticcio. From here you walk through oak woods to the sandy beach of Procchio. The 600-metre-long, fine-sand beach nestles like an amphitheatre in the lush coastal landscape. Time for a stroll along the beach or a dip in the sea.
Day 6: Portoferraio - Switzerland
After unforgettable days of walking, you depart for the journey back to Switzerland.

Hotels
The 4* Hotel Fabricia (official national category) stands out for its location near Portoferraio: completely surrounded by Mediterranean flora, olive trees and the scent of the sea. A spacious, lovingly landscaped garden creates an oasis of calm, perfect for relaxation and discovery. All rooms are equipped with bath or shower/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, TV and minibar. An equivalent hotel will be used if unavailable.

WALKING REQUIREMENTS
On mainly easy, occasionally somewhat more demanding walks, you will discover the true charm of your holiday destination together with like-minded people. You can look forward to a varied combination of coach travel and rambles through nature.
GROUP SIZE
The maximum number of participants is 36. Larger groups are generally divided into 2 ability levels, each with its own walking tour guide, taking into account the fitness of the guests. We only divide the group in two from approximately 20 people (this varies depending on the walking tour and region). On some walking tours, larger groups are not divided at all.
WALKING TOUR GUIDES AND ROUTES
All tours are accompanied by local, German-speaking walking tour guides. The routes have been carefully selected and the individual stages checked on site to ensure everything runs smoothly. Walks and routes may be adapted depending on the weather. Programme changes reserved.
ACCOMPANYING COACH
Our coach driver will take you safely and reliably to your destination and accompany you with the coach on the daily tours. If you tire during the excursions, you can board the coach at various points along the way.
EQUIPMENT RECOMMENDATIONS
To enjoy your walking tour to the full, comfortable clothing is recommended. Rain protection should also be part of your luggage. You will find further tips on equipment in your travel documents.
